Blackwater Tai Chi is a Wutan (UK) Martial Arts school (hereafter ‘Wutan Martial Arts’ or ‘Wutan’). The terms below apply to Blackwater Tai Chi.
Wutan offers services under the following terms which are to be reviewed and accepted by all students. Parents / guardians are required to do this for students under the age of 18.
I have declared any medical issues of concern including those to my lungs, kidneys, glands, back, heart, blood pressure and mental or emotional health
I have declared any history of epilepsy
I have not been advised by a doctor to avoid exercise
I have no convictions of a sexual or violent nature
I shall try to exert myself wholeheartedly to perfect the skills taught to me in order to improve my health, confidence, fitness and self discipline
I shall respect Wutan and be loyal to it, my instructor, and my fellow students
I understand that my membership fee goes towards helping Wutan pay for its Public Liability insurance and for maintaining Wutan’s training HQ.
I understand that Wutan cannot be held liable for:
Any loss or damage to my property however caused
Any injury to myself unless the same is due to negligence on the part of Wutan or its instructors
I declare that no practise weapons or equipment used or purchased from Wutan:
Will be displayed publicly in any way except through events organised by Wutan
Will be carried or transported in public, except to or from any Wutan class or event
I accept that in martial arts, as in any other sport, there is a risk of injury, and that I participate entirely at my own risk
I declare that I will not use any of the skills and/or techniques taught to me outside of the training sessions except for self defence purposes
I accept that Wutan reserves the right to restrict or refuse admission
I agree to be bound by the rules and conditions as set out by Wutan
